I owe the city of Baltimore eight cents.

I learned some things that will come in handy for next time.

  • The Number 35 Bus doesn't ever actually get to the loop. It stops on Poplar Avenue.
  • Baltimore buses do not take Canadian quarters. That thing that you put your money in will buzz very loudly at you if you try.
  • The guy behind the counter at Penn Station (in Baltimore) is more than happy to help you.
  • That woman that's driving the 64 bus to Penn station doesn't give a shit about you, and thinks you're trying to cheat her out of $1.60.
  • If you pretend you're lost, even the nastiest bus driver will leave you alone.
  • The woman behind the LIRR counter in Penn Station (in New York) doesn't actually want to talk to you. Fugure it out on your own, then give her the $8.25 for the peak-rush-hour one-way not-changing-at-Jamaica.
