Shovels don't make very good pogo sticks.

I just thought I'd say that.

I'm not a big fan of tearing out grass with a shovel. Mostly because I'm a skinny little shit, and I have to put all of my weight onto the shovel -- and it usually ends with me leaping onto the shovel head with both feet to get it three inches into the ground.

Not very effective as a pogo stick, not very effective as a shovel, but very effective as an edger.


So... yeah.
