Let's just say... today hasn't been the best day.

It's been cold, wet, and nasty.

The only reason it's cold, wet, and nasty, is because a tropical storm named Ernesto is headed toward us. Yup. That's right. It's supposed to track right up the Chesapeake, and pwn Baltimore in the face.

UMBC is canceling classes for the day on Friday, Sept. 1, 2006,
effective at 2 p.m., due to a water main break on Wilkens Avenue that
has impacted the Baltimore City water system.

All non-essential UMBC personnel should leave campus for the day.
Essential personnel should check with their supervisor for instructions.

I had a dream once, where my friends had to bunker down in the basement of the dorm (last year's dorm) in the face of a hurricane. It ended with me, Taran, my stalker, and an asshole, in Walmart, looking for lanterns and candles.
